American Psycho is a film about a young, great looking and wealthy investment banker named Patrick Bateman. The film is an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis novel, published in 1991.

American Psycho starring Christian Bale as the serial killer Bateman, Willem Dafoe, and Reese Witherspoon was released in 2000. The story is set during the 80’s Wall Street boom. It is a controversial film because of the gruesomeness of the murders, but acclaimed as well for its great story.
