Appreciation is a recognition or acknowledgement. It’s a favorable response about someone or something good or bad but has given a positive influence into your life. Sometimes, people would only notice and appreciate something if it’s gone. But NO, appreciation should not work that way. We have all the time to appreciate everything even if we still have them in keeping- even if they’re still part of our once-lived-life.

People have lots to appreciate if we only look around. That’s basically looking up, down, left, right and even out of your backyard. We are so busy living in this world to own things that doesn’t belong to us yet. We sometimes ignore those who are actually with us and were making our lives better by its existence, that’s what we should be sensitive about now.

Personally, everything around me matters much. From my family, friends, school, work, experiences, possessions, childhood, and memories – obviously there’s too many to mention but most importantly “Life itself”. Not everyone is blessed to have a fortunate life as “YOU” that you can even browse your computer to read this page, while others are still working and struggling for life wherever they maybe at this very moment.

Now, take some time to read these lovely “appreciation quotes”. They NEED NOT to be gone first before you have to be thankful for their existence. At any time or day and anywhere you are, express how you appreciate the good things said and done by these people or experiences. And to be able to show genuine appreciation, you should be loving them even more.

You will notice the quotes below were intended for people whom we shared most of our time with and where most of our learning came from. Some quotes maybe applicable for more than one category.
